Your Senior Year and the summer leading into it can be incredibly busy not only with sports, and school activities, but also work and preparing for the college you may be attending, that it can be hard to find the time to fit your Senior Portraits in.  The catch 22 is the summer leading into your Senior Year is generally the best time to have your Senior Portraits taken simply because there is so much going on during the school year that it is simply one less thing to have to do.elwell-3

But Senior Portraits are about expressing who you are at this pivotal time in your life.  Not only can you express yourself through your outfit choices but also through the locations you choose, and even the season you choose to be photographed in.  Fall with all of it's color, Winter with snow, Spring with all of the new blossoms, or Summer where the sky is the limit.elwell-19

Katie is a member of the Class of 2013 who I had the honor of photographing this past May.  We chose Brecksville for her location and both her mother and grandmother, who also grew up in the area, tagged along as we walked around the area and surrounding Metroparks.elwell-22

Katie has an amazing smile that lights up everyone around her and we were able to get some beautiful shots of her.  This fall she plans on attending Cleveland State to study premed and I offer her the best of luck.  Katie it truly was an honor to document your senior year.  As you celebrate your graduation in the coming weeks, and head off to college this fall I wish you nothing but success and happiness in all that you do.elwell-34
