Happy Halloween!!  Halloween is usually one of my favorite holidays, with the costumes, pumpkins, treats, and of course trick or treating with the kids.  Unfortunately, Mother Nature had a little different plan for many of us this year, and sent Sandy our way.   In my area, my household was fortunate not to lose power, or to have any damage, not so for so many others, and my thoughts and prayers go out to anyone who has been affected.  Needless to say our trick or treating night has been moved.  Considering that is hasn't stopped raining for days now, I must say I am happy about that decision.  

DSC_1172 As I was preparing this post, I looked back at pictures that I have taken of Halloween past, and couldn't help but sharing them.  It also reminded me how quickly time passes, and how much our children can change from one year to the next.  In a way it sort of makes me a little sad, because they are all growing up soooo quickly, but I feel extremely fortunate that I took the time to document them along the way, because unfortunately for me that is the only way that I will be able to stop time, if only for that moment.IMG_0092 These are some of my favorite images, and it's funny looking back you can kinda tell what the weather was like by the amount of clothes that are piled on!DSC_4699 Pumpkin picking in our home is an epic event, with each year the pumpkins getting bigger and BIGGER!!  Or that time we tried to see how many pumpkins we could pick up at one time.  I think our best was 7!!DSC_3294 Costumes, costumes, costumes!!  My youngest LOVES dressing up, so Halloween is right up her alley with each year being a more unique idea, and me trying to figure out how to make it a reality.  And in my own opinion I don't think I've done too shabby of a job.  From Hannah Montana, to a puppy..........IMG_1450
